Family goes Bowling

Alexander earned a "treat" by getting 10 stickers for good behavior at home. So what did he want to do? BOWLING with cousins...so he got it. We had one heck of a good time.

Aunt Julie and cousin Isabella - she is going to be a big sister soon to a new baby brother.

It's time for Soccer

First year for soccer and Alexander is loving it! Here in AZ we have indoor soccer and you might ask why? Well, it's still 108 degrees out and we are dying in this heat.

Awful pictures...but our camera is crap!

He was so ready to go...

And yet...when the ball went right by him he was just biting his nails.

1 Year Anniversary...photos

Our one year anniversary was spent in Sedona, and a lovely resort. We had a wonderful time!

I'm not sure what he means by this picture... ??? :)

I know these pictures are boring but if this is our family journal then, we need to have them in here.

One year...can you believe it.

My love...

He is being camera happy....

At Ken's Creekside...we wanted a steak house...so the resort told us to go here...well it had one steak on the menu. It was good but I don't think I would go back, way to much money...

me amore!

We did pay alot for the food, but the view was AMAZING!!! These pictures where one right after the other...

The sun going down and hitting the moutain...bright and beautiful.

So very pretty...best picture...

It's all about Alexander

I am trying to keep up with posting but some days are just difficult. Here are a few fun pictures of our Alexander...he can be such a "card". We love him so.

He found a new way to sit on the living room stool

Alexander loves doing his homework...and he is really serious about it.

Okay...well this is not his homework...but he loves working at his little desk.

I loved this picture, it's just so cute to see Zac and Alexander together like this.

One Year Anniversary!

September 12, 2010....Our one year anniversary! It feels like it's flown by and yet I feel like it's been four years. Then again it was 2007 when we first met, so I guess it has been four years! Zac took me up to Sedona and we watched our wedding video and it just seems so crazy that it was a year ago that we really became a family. I can't wait for year two of this life...

Here is Zac to share his feelings on our one year anniversary: Fantasticly unbelievable. This has been the best year of my life. Topped off the first year in a great place in Sedona, steak, hottub, and Barry White...not kidding.

Okay...well....now you know....it's been a wonderful year!

Funny Alexander

Alexander is a funny kid, he says some pretty funny things so here are a few things he said during church yesterday (fast and testimony meeting)...
1. "Mommy, that lady looks scary with her hair like that."
2. "What's with all that crying up there" (talking about the speakers at the pulpit)
3. Alexander: "Mommy, why is the Bishop mad?" Me: "Why do you think the Bishop is mad?" Alexander: "because his face is all red"
4. Alexander: "MOM! Why do you always whisper in my ear at church!"
5. Alexander: "Mom, 4 + 2 = 6" Me: "yes, that's right Alex. How did you know that?" Alexander: "See (pointing to the Bishop, 1st/2nd counselors, Stake President, young priest, and a man giving his testimony) 4 + 2 = 6. Me: Yeah, your right-laughing a little"

We also have started a sticker chart for Alexander, and he is a new little boy. He has been so helpful and his little tantrums are less...it's been so nice for us. So I asked Alexander to clean off the table, and to my amazement I turned around and it was done. I was so shocked as it looked great. I came home from church and saw this (see picture below)

So here is where all the stuff on the table went. You just have to laugh!
