Alexander reading his scriptures...

I was talking to my Mom on the phone, and Alexander wanted my attention. I am trying to teach him not to interrupt. So finally he decided to pass the time by reading his new scripture story book. I was so proud of him as I listened to him read, I ran upstairs and grabbed the camera. Of course, I took too long so when I came down with the camera he was tired and didn't want to read anymore. I had to beg him...but he did it.

1st I am proud of our little one, because as much as I want to give him credit for us teaching him how to read...he really did it on his own. I can thank Kerstin and Gary for giving Alexander their smart genes.

2nd I am proud that he likes his new Bible scripture stories, and I know it's helping him understand our Heavenly Father and Jesus.

help...I'm falling apart...

Okay, so just went you think "it's got to go uphilll from here"...you hit an all time low. That is what happened these couple of days. Zac wasn't feeling well, I wasn't feeling well and then it got worse. I was tested today for pnemonia today....it came back negative. Which is good but then there is a part of me that thinks..."ok, then why am I so sick?" I had the worst night last night and poor Zac probably didn't sleep. He so good and took care of my high tempature. He never complained and just held me during the worst parts. Yes, he will the husband of the year award...and Alexander will get the son of the year award...I'm blessed.
