Christmas Tree Hunting...at Lowe's

It's always hard for me to go to the nearest Lowe's to find a Christmas Tree, but you have to do what you have to do when you live in Arizona with no Christmas Tree farms.

Home we go...

Son like Father....

Alexander doing his homework...he is so smart.

1st Christmas Recital for Alexander

Isn't he sooooo CUTE! I love him so much!

Thanksgiving 2011

This was one my favorite Thanksgiving since living here, only because for the first time I had Mom and Dad. Usually they don't go anywhere for Thanksgiving because they have so many in Oregon with them. However, this year with Sister Amber having her twin boys we had them, and it was WONDERFUL. My mom makes the best pies, she is so good at crust...something that I don't do well. We had a late dinner due to Zac working but it worked out since the rest of the family was able to be with their family and come have a 2nd dinner with us. We had a good time and I was grateful to have family with me on this day of Thanksgiving.

Mom and Alexander made these cute turkey hats for everyone, it will be a new tradition. Especially since I kept them for next year. ;)

The meal...it was so good! Thanks Mom!!!

Mom handing out all our hats.

Sister Amber, me (see the baby bump that is growing), my cute wonderful son Alexander.

My wonderful handsome husband, I'm thankful that he married me and made so many dreams and wishes come true.

Richards food and armpit...weird picture not sure how it made the cut to put on the blog????

Amber, Dad, Aaron showing off the meal

Me and Alexander...and baby

The end...but so very perfect day thanks to having Mom and Dad here. :)

Carving Pumpkins with the Adams 2011

We can always count on the Adam's to keep us entertained. We had a pumpkin carving party at the Adam's new home. Great food, great company, and we carved our traditional pumpkins.

Here is Alexander, he loved it.

The end result, Mom's is on the left, Alexander's in the middle, and Zac is on the right. Notice the knife sticking out...nice Zac...always having to be different. ;)

Greg and Sharron...cause a party isn't a party without Sharron.

Part of the group, Sharron, Emma, Zac, and Alexander. Oh did I mention we also had cookie decorating? Tammy thinks of everything. Also notice Emma in her beautiful Mermaid costume.

Here is my handsome husband and his strong hands, he takes care of me and I love him so. Best decision I ever had was to marry this man! :)

Thank you Adam's for a wonderful eveing. WE LOVE YOU GUYS!

Halloween 2011

Well we had a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle for Halloween. Alexander wanted to be a Ninja, but I just could see myself buying a $30 costume that is all black, so we compormised and we agreed on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, I think he is quite cute. :)
I put the pictures backwards, so here is the end of the night with the little boy and all his candy. I had to teach him how you put all your candy together and then count it. At least that is what we always did after our Halloween night out.

Here we are at the end of the night, showing we were out of candy too. We actually were surprised as it was someone elses holiday but she didn't show up so we took Alexander around the neighborhood with his friends that live across the way. He had a great time, Mommy was actually sick with a really bad headache but I look pretty good considering....

Here is Alexander with his Ninja friend, RJ

Our tough Mutant Ninja Turtle

Just a couple of our pumpkins, I believe Alexander's pumpkin is on the left and Zac's is on the right. I guess my pumpkin was not good enough to make the picture section.

Here is the clan that went out trick or treating

Ashley, Peter, RJ, and Alexander

We actually have more pictures, as the Ward had a Trick-or-Truck on Saturday night and we all dressed up. I was a Hawaiian Dancer, Alex was Ninja Turtle, and Daddy was a cowboy. We had a great time there...but forgot to take pictures.

We also had a great night with the Adams, as they hosted a night of pumpkin carving with yummy food and Charlie Brown's famous "Great Pumpkin" movie too! It was great especially as they hosted it at their new house. I will get those pictures up next.

We send our love to Mormor and Morfar, and want you to know that we love you!

It's official...We are pregnant!

I've been waiting for us to hit the 12 week mark before I posted. This is really an old ultra sound picture...so it shows nothing. Then again don't all ultra sound pictures show nothing. I can never figure them out.
We will be due May 14th, which is quite funny since it's so close to my birthday (10th) and Zac's birthday (29th). While growing up when my Mother and would get into arguements with me, she would say "I hope you have a child just like you" and my reply would be "so do I...at least I will understand them".
So it looks like we both got our wish. However, I have a feeling my Mom will be the one getting the good laugh out of this, as I will experience the joy of a child just like me (I wasn't easy).
Nonetheless, Daddy and Brother are very happy. I'm still fighting the evening sickness, but VERY happy!
