JJ's 40th Surprise Birthday Party

I love a lot of things but one of them is a good old fashion surprise Birthday party. I already think everyone needs to have a Birthday party for a "true" Birthday and my husband knows me well enough to know that I really need to celebrate the big ones!
So here is to being 20+20 (40)!
Zac had finals so I really didn't think we were going to do much. Then come to find out he turned to one of my best friends, Tammy to throw an all out Birthday Bash at my favorite place, Sharron's home.
I was quite surprised but then again when we were suppose to be leaving for dinner with family and I was told we would need to go to Sharron's house so that Greg and Zac could give her a blessing due to her cancer being back...we headed over...only to find some dear friends awaiting my arrival. I was happy to find out that Sharron's cancer had NOT come back...it was just a plan she came up with to get me over there. funny...but only because I know Sharron's kind of humor.
I had a great time and I love my husband, Tammy, and parents in making this 40th Birthday a great one and oh so memorable

Cute little Emma taking a break when the party just started

Sharron and Tammy - The two that worked to make this day so special

Sweet and wonderful friends that came to celebrate the surprise

Ever since I met Sharron, Tammy, and Karin they have been making up songs for birthdays, and I love the song they sang for mine.

It was so cute and special in every way

The guests

Tammy asked my family to write something that they love about me. Then my sister Amber read them to me at the party. It made her cry but mostly because she is pregnant and it made me cry because I love my family.

One of my favorite cakes in Choc. Choc. Choc. Costco cake...and it was heaven

I have to make a speech at my own party
