So it's Friday morning and I was thinking that tonight was always "Date Night" for my parents. I was wishing and wondering how I could have a "Date Night" with Zac, but I don't like to "over" use my friends and family for babysitting. So I just put the thought away and started my day, in the normal fashion.
You can image my surprise when my wonderful giving Sister-in-law, Julie (Richard's wife) called to say they would be willing to babysit for us. I was so surprised as I couldn't believe that once again I feel like these little blessings keep coming our way. I was so happy and grateful for her willingness to help me out and make my little dream of the morning come true.
When we went to pick up Alexander he was so happy and excited. He had the best time, not to mention the "cool" gift that was given to him. Julie let Alexander go to the toy store and pick out any toy that we wanted. He picked an aircraft carrier with cool sounds and airplines and all. It was pretty darn cool! Zac sat down and started playing with it as soon as he saw it.
The drive home was hilarious as Alexander couldn't stop talking he was so happy and had the best time. Julie and Richard said he was a good boy and had no problems, I hope that was true. :)
As I said goodnight to my two favorite boys, I felt this overwhelming love and appreciation for my family and friends (Amber, Aaron, Julie, Richard, Tina, Tammy, and Sharron) who have often offered their services to me, Zac, and Alexander.
I can't thank you enough, as I feel so blessed to have you in my life.
