Our Pumpkin carving started with a night of pizza, and thanks to my sister-in-laws, Beth, blog it gave me suggestions on how to end the night with carmel apples.

Alexander is ready to carve

Always the same...father like son!

We told Alexander to put his hand in and pull out the guts...this is what he pulled out.

Mommy showing Alexander how to get the guts out.

Finding the face

He was loving this...

The lovely flowers that my Mother-in-law bought me when she was visiting and our yummy carmel apples.

My pumpkin face was stealing the idea of my neice Bailey...but I think her pumpkin looks a lot better. Zac and Alexander said it looks like a cat. I don't even like cats! I wanted a vampire look.

Alexander's decided on a ghost...

What great pictures with the lights out. Your pumpkins look great, what fun. This was the first year since we have had children that we did not carve pumpkins. I was too cheap because I wanted to save it for Thanksgiving to make a turkey out of it. LOve Mom
WOW! What a cat-pumpkin...I mean vampire catish pumpkin. Really it all looks fantastic. Love the ghost and scary pumpkins. I really liked the lighted pumpkin look. I hope you had a great Halloween.
FUN! You did a great job. I didn't even carve a pumpkin this year--no place to put it and light it.
YUM. Those apples look tasty!! You failed to mention that Alex's pumpkin came ALL THE WAY from Oregon on a plane!!!! :)
