I'm fine..
So, I stopped thinking about my life and started reading all of your blogs and I found myself happy. Life goes on and I can have faith that Heavenly Father will bless us. Miracles happen...I mean...I got married. A MIRACLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
It's done...
Okay, so it's done..the court is over...is it fair?...NO!
Please excuse this blog, as I am going to vent...PLEASE don't bother responding...I just want to say some feelings and then let it go...
Basicly Zac and Crystal came to an agreement. She would pay us $109.00 a month and give up the right to put Alexander on her taxes for 4 years or is it 3? I don't know the details as I am not allowed to be in the room and you just have to work out the deal with a court ordered "person". If you can't agree then you end up going into court with the judge. Zac feels good about the deal, and so I have to trust his judgement.
I really am trying to find peace in this, I just feel like their is no equality. She chooses to have a part-time job, and make as little as possible. She chooses to spend less time with Alexander (personally we are happy about this) yet, the Judge allowes her more time. When we should be allowed $340.00 a month we get less than half! Do we want the money? No, I want the money so that when she can't pay it we can hold it over her head and get some leavage. Is that wrong? One day I want to move, and I want to live somewhere else...but if we don't have leavage that won't happen. According to court she spends a total of 43 days with Alexander per a year. 43 days!!! I'm away from Alexander for a day and I miss the little one.
I want to scream...IT'S NOT FAIR...and then I hear my mother's voice in my head that says, "well, life isn't fair". Yes, yes...I know...Alexander will always be worth it. I just want to feel like I get justice for the price I (we) pay.

Alexander's chalk drawings
Alexander was given outside chalk from our beloved Tammy and he came home and started his work of art right away. While he was outside work he came running in and said "Mom, how do you spell Zac, and how do you spell your name" So I told him and he went outside and started working...
He then came back inside and announced that we needed to come outside and see what he did.
I'll help you out...he wrote,
"JJ (two J's backwards)+Zac (Z is backwards)+Alex and then a heart.
It was moments like this that I realize he get's that we are a family, and when he leaves for a weekend with Crystal, he always comes back to us and completes us as a family.

Also...here's a side note...Zac goes back to court tomorrow with Crystal, as she believes she shouldn't have to pay any child support. We have such mix feelings about this as we don't want or need any money from her. However, is seems that someone who has to be part of our life should have to take responsibility. She decided she didn't want to give us full custody and with that comes the responsibility of paying for a child. Whether the Judge see's our side or her side I have to remember that my cute little Alexander will forever be mine, and I know the Lord will find away to make this happen, as he is the perfect just God and Judge.

One of Zac's favorite things...
Here's my husband doing one of his favorite things...he just bought himself a shiny gold helmet from ebay. Ironically the smell of the helmet could kill him faster than not wearing one. He says it smells like vomit, I'll trust him as I don't want to smell it.
He loves look'in good... :)

Zac's first calling in church...
I remember when Zac first asked me what a "Calling" was, it's funny how we can use so many terms that sound funny to those not of our faith. So, with that...a "calling" is when you are delegated, or assigned to somebody or a group (women, men, young men's/women, children's primary) to assist where needed. Some find themselves as teachers others to activities, but in most cases everyone finds them self with a calling. We believe that with each calling their is purpose and reason on why we are called and we do the service that is needed without pay and sacrifice our time.
One calling is that of Elders Quorum Presidency - it consist of a President and two counselors. These men hold the Melchizedek priesthood (see Bible and Book of Mormon for reference) and preside over the elders (men that hold the priesthood) in the ward (congregation). Whoa...I'm getting tired just typing all of this. It's no wonder it took Zac over a year to decide to get baptized...you really do have lots to learn. :)
So...you wonder what calling Zac received....
Elders Quorum Secretary: This means he helps the presidency with whatever comes there way. The President usually picks someone that is well organized to be secretary...well you can image why when you have over 100 men etc.
When Zac was first given the calling, he was surprised, humbled, honored, and happy. He says, "it feels like the beginning of a spiritual journey".
When he told me, I thought he was teasing me, as I would not guess they would give someone, so new to the church, a calling that can hold some pretty big responsibilities. In fact I thought he was teasing, so I turned it back on him and said "oh well, you should call my parents" thinking he would come clean. Needless to say he was the on the phone telling them his exciting news and I was on the other side of the bed thinking, "oh my gosh...really...he isn't joking". My second thought was, "okay, I can see this...and I could not think of a better calling for him" He has all the natural abilities to do this calling and the Lord knows better than I. I might see less of my husband on certain nights but I know we will be blessed.
While my parents were in town not to long ago my mother said to Zac, "you've had a big year this year Zac" and Zac's response, "Yeah, I guess I have".
I still stand amazed, at all the miracles that have come to me, Zac, and our family.
So you wonder what's up next for this family...
Zac will be going through the Temple for the first time in December and then we are planning on being Sealed in the Temple sometime in the early part of January....keep your calendar's open.

Off to go Fishing with Daddy
Zac was given a new position at work as a Supervisor, and I am very proud of him. With this new title of Supervisor comes a new schedule. Zac works Wednesday through Saturday 6 to 6, with Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday off. Zac has enjoyed this so far as he started his first Monday off with a trip to the golf course and on Tuesday he and Alexander went fishing.
Needless to say they didn't catch any fish but ended up meeting a rattler snake. The snake wanted his space and Zac was willing to give it to him until he felt inspired to kill the snake. He ended up killing the snake and cutting the head off. Yuck!
It's a good thing he didn't tell me all of this until it was all done and over with, as I don't think I would be very happy with him.
