Pumpkin Carving

Our Pumpkin carving started with a night of pizza, and thanks to my sister-in-laws, Beth, blog it gave me suggestions on how to end the night with carmel apples.

Alexander is ready to carve

Always the same...father like son!

We told Alexander to put his hand in and pull out the guts...this is what he pulled out.

Mommy showing Alexander how to get the guts out.

Finding the face

He was loving this...

The lovely flowers that my Mother-in-law bought me when she was visiting and our yummy carmel apples.

My pumpkin face was stealing the idea of my neice Bailey...but I think her pumpkin looks a lot better. Zac and Alexander said it looks like a cat. I don't even like cats! I wanted a vampire look.

Alexander's decided on a ghost...

Farmor and Fall Break

Farmor came and saved the day as Alexander had Fall Break and we needed HELP. We wanted Alexander to experience FUN and we knew Farmor would be the person. We LOVE Farmor when she comes for a visit, as she really takes care of us.
I love that I get to take a break from cooking, and the laundry is always done when I come home. Alexander loves Farmor and all the treats and toys that are given. We can not say enought to THANK Farmor for coming and helping us when we needed her. We had a great visit and poor Alexander is having withdrawals without her. :)
We love you Farmor and we hope your trip to Sweden is a great visit with your parents (Mormor and Morfar)

side note: For some reason I don't have pictures, I think Farmor has them all on her camera. We will have to wait until she comes back to get them copied on the blog.

William's baby blessing in Oregon

My sister Ashlee and her husband Jeff blessed baby William this last weekend, and with cheap tickets on Allegiant Air we couldn't pass up a long weekend home.
Here is my nephew Tyler and cousin Emma playing Barbie's

Mom cooking...always taking care of us

Alexander and cousin Ben have the best time together.

Alexander could jump on the tramp all day long, and one day when we live in a house with a backyard that is the first thing I am going to get.

Alexander holding little William, it's funny cause little William always has this look of fear on his face....but really he is quite secure and happy!

Sister Jennifer

My sister Tricia and her family came down for a very quick visit on Saturday afternoon. We headed to Thistle Farms for pumpkin picking. Here is Darren with Natalie chasing turkey's

My Mother-in-law, Kerstin is amazing and very talented. She made this cute hat and sweater for little William. It was perfect and so very cute, as you can see!
