Our growning baby

We are trying to keep up with everything, but sometimes things get away from us. We are going to try to keep a history of the growing baby...and here are some more pictures. We are now at 29 weeks. It's hard to believe we only have 11 more weeks to go.

Big Brother Alexander is so excited and can't wait!

It's a BOY !!

We are happy to announce that we are having a bouncing baby boy. Apparently the baby is growing in leaps and bounds. He is weighing in at 1 pound 4 oz. (which puts us a week ahead) and is very long at this time (which also explains all the kicking that is going on in my belly). If he continues to grow at this rate the Dr. will move our due date to May 3rd, but they also say the baby goes in growth spurts, so maybe this is just his little spurt.

Big brother, Alexander is so excited and keeps talking about sharing his room. I don't know if he will feel the same once he is woken up in the middle of the night with a crying baby but I am happy he is so excited.

Daddy is excited because he says he knows what to expect with a boy.

Mommy is just excited to see what their little one will look like, and can't wait to have the little guy join our family.

Baby bump is growing....and a cute photo.

My sister Ashlee came to help my sister Amber with the twins Luke and Jonah. We had a friends birthday party and here is a cute photo of the babies. They are growing so fast 12 pounds 9 oz....who knows they are probably are more now. I love these two little guys and it makes me so excited to have a little one.

Baby bump is growing...

We took this picture, and I thought I would post. The bump is growing....and growing...

We go to the Dr. on Tuesday and we hope so many questions will be answered. We will keep you posted.

24 weeks and counting

Okay...so I decided it was time to post a pregnancy picture. I go back and forth about showing the bump because I am not sure if it will really look like a bump as I have always been a big girl. However, with that being said I lost 10 pounds for my first Trimester and I have gained about 5 pounds back since being in the 2nd Trimester.

I wish I could say that I love 2nd Trimester...and yes it is better than first as I don't throw up...but I still feel like throwing up...so still not my favorite. My husband would be happy to tell you my crazy emotional stories. I am starting the pregnancy brain which is even worse than my absent mind I had before this.

The baby is kicking up a storm and if I wake up at 2 am because I am hungry the baby will continue to kick until I feed it. I think it has Alexander's energy, so heaven help us.

If you are wondering if it's a boy or girl....SO ARE WE!

Here comes the Story....

12/19/2011 We go in for our ultrasound and have the tech write the sex down. Christmas morning we open up and surprise we are having a GIRL with a high placenta.

12/30/2011 We go back to the Dr. for an ultrasound as some measurements are needed. The tech here's us calling the baby a girl and says "so you know it's a BOY...right?" (low placenta). Shocked and surprised we don't know what to think...Needless to say we are going back for a 3rd ultrasound to find out what is going on.

We were suppose to find out last Tuesday but family emergency took the Dr. away...so we rescheduled and we should know by Tuesday.

So...we will let you know when we do. Either way we are excited and looking forward to life with a baby. Even Alexander has offered his room to the new little one in our life. He is going to be a great big brother, and he practices with cousins Luke and Jonah...so he's ready. Daddy is looking forward to having a baby and not doing it alone this time. Mommy is just excited...well...for everything!
