POLAR EXPRESS for Alexander

Polar Express for Alexander was a great success and we made it to the North Pole through the magical tunnel. We couldn't get off the train as it was too cold and we didn't want to interrupt the work that all the elfs were doing to get ready for Christmas. Lucky for us Santa had time to jump on the train and come visit each child and give him/her a bell telling them to believe. I was really impressed with Santa as he looked "good" and "well suited". It was a lot of fun and Alexander really enjoyed it. They kept us busy with music, listening to the Polar Express book, giving us cookies and hot chocolate, singing christmas carols, and just enjoying the snow and scene outside.

On our way to the Train Station...it was cold but we were so excitted.

At the station, waiting for the Train to arrive.

The train arriving, Alexander was so excitted.

Alexander holding the boarding ticket

We were one of the first people on the train and it was an old train that was built in the 20's so it was very antique and very beautiful.

He wanted the train to go faster... :)

Just enjoying the ride in our PJ's

Here is our Chief Christine who gave us cookies and really yummy hot chocolate. Alexander said, "when are they going to start dancing"...first disappoint of the night.

Cookie and Hot Chocolate Time

Bad picture but it was a moving train. We made it to the North Pole!

Santa surprised us by coming on the train ride home with us.

He visited with each child, even his voice sounded "good".

Santa gave each child a bell to remind him/her to Believe.

Alexander loved his bell and we can't wait to put some ribbon on it and put it on the tree.

Official ticket, second disappointment...they didn't come by and "click" our ticket

The face he made regarding his disappointment that they didn't come by and "click" the ticket.

Don't worry he got over the disappointment by throwing snow balls!
I think it time to come up and play in the snow as he was really enjoying himself with it.
Thanks to Cousin Tracy Cooper we had a place to stay for the night but decided that the weather was so good and Alexander was so energized with the fun that we just drove home (3 hour drive).
It was a great time and Alexander was the perfect age for this event. I suggest it to anyone with little ones. :)

Can you please convince my hubby it's worth it. There is a "Polar Express" in Heber, but Rob thinks I'm crazy for wanting to spend money on such a thing! Glad you had fun!
